Wine List

The wine list is still being formalized and will be uploaded in the D1 Wine Production Online Portal as soon as it verified. 

For those who did not purchase the wine kit, but would like to taste along, we have chosen the wines to align with the recommended samples listed on page 20 of the specification:

1. 2016 Michel Gros, Nuits St. Georges AC, 13%Pinot Noir from Burgundy of very good quality e.g. Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru
2. 2017 La Crema, Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast, 13.5%Pinot Noir from any other contrasting region of very good quality e.g. Walker Bay Pinot Noir
3. 2015 Movia, Ambra Pinot Grigio, Slovenia, 12.5%White wine with noticeable skin contact e.g. orange wine
4. 2018 The Calling, Chardonnay Dutton Ranch, Russian River Valley, 14.5%White wine that clearly shows a number of winemaking techniques (e.g. obvious oak and MLF)
5. 2009 Beringer, Nightingale Botrytis Sauvignon Blanc (90%), Semillon (10%), Napa Valley, 14.3%Botrytised sweet wine
6. 2018 Louis Jadot, Beaujolais AC, 13%Any red wine that has whole bunch/berry fermentation in its production process of very good or outstanding quality
7. 2015 Mount Veeder Winery Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Mount Veeder, Napa Valley, 14.5%
Any red wine that has a high level of extraction in its production process of very good or outstanding quality
8. 2019 Miraval, Rose Cotes de Provence, 13%Any dry rosé of good or very good quality, e.g. high quality Provence rosé
9. 2018 Buehler, White Zinfandel, California, 10.5%Any rosé with contrasting production techniques to Wine 8 e.g. residual sugar, blend of white and black varieties etc. of good quality
